Senior Planner – Transportation Projects

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the development and management of project schedules for transportation infrastructure projects, including rail, roads, bridges and tunnels. The role supports project managers and controls teams in creating realistic baselines, monitoring progress and delivering corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project programmes using Primavera P6, creating Work Breakdown Structures aligned with contractual scope.
• Maintain and update schedules, monitor progress versus baseline, and produce weekly/monthly schedule reports with variance analysis and look‑ahead programmes.
• Perform critical‑path, float and scenario analyses to identify risks, develop recovery plans and forecast completion dates.
• Coordinate design and construction schedules across multiple disciplines and ensure integration with earned‑value and financial reporting.
• Facilitate programme review meetings, communicate schedule risks to stakeholders and support contractual assessments such as extensions of time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PMI‑SP, APM) is advantageous.
• Formal training or certification in Primavera P6 preferred.
