Senior Process Engineer – Greenfield Projects

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will lead the development, design and verification of process engineering activities for ADNOC offshore greenfield oil and gas projects, providing technical leadership from FEED through start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for offshore facilities including wellhead platforms, processing, gas compression, water injection and export systems.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process design basis, calculations (heat & material balance, hydraulic analysis, pressure relief, flare network) and perform simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus or equivalent.
• Support concept selection, FEED, detailed design, equipment specification, vendor evaluations and construction‑commissioning activities.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP, safety reviews, interface coordination with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s advantageous).
• Minimum 15 years of process engineering experience in oil & gas, with at least 8 years on offshore greenfield projects and FEED/detailed engineering.
• Proven experience on ADNOC or similar Middle‑East offshore projects.

Required skills

• Process simulation tools: Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, Pipesim.
• Process calculation software and equipment sizing.
• Knowledge of API standards, ASME codes, IEC standards and ADNOC engineering standards.
• Strong understanding of offshore oil & gas processing, produced water treatment, crude oil stabilization, water injection and flare/relief systems.
