Senior Process Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will lead and coordinate process engineering activities for large‑scale upstream offshore oil & gas projects across all development phases, from conceptual studies to start‑up. This position reports to the project engineering management team and works closely with multidisciplinary disciplines to ensure technical excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review process engineering deliverables for Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, EPC, Commissioning and Start‑up phases.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process solutions with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation scopes.
• Ensure all designs meet client specifications, international codes, and Wood’s quality standards.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and early operations.
• Participate in risk assessments, hazard studies and cost‑optimization activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in offshore oil & gas process engineering, preferably within a PMC environment.
• Proven track record delivering major projects in the Middle East/GCC region.
• Strong understanding of international codes and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multicultural teams.
