Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas EPC Midstream

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with 10‑15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, strong expertise in process design and simulation software, and proven site experience. The role demands excellent communication, organization, and a proactive attitude to tackle new challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the process lead and discipline manager to define project objectives and ensure technical accuracy of deliverables.
• Provide process engineering input to multidisciplinary design activities and interface with vendors and other disciplines.
• Lead feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed process studies, producing heat & material balances, PFDs, P&IDs and data sheets.
• Mentor junior process engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Represent the project in technical design reviews such as HAZOP, SIL, and client/vendor meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 10‑15 years of relevant oil & gas (midstream EPC) experience.
• Demonstrated fluency in process design, process simulation software, and on‑site execution.
• Familiarity with industry standards (API, Shell DEP, Saudi ARAMCO, ADNOC) and package designs for gas dehydration, sweetening, crude oil and produced water treatment.

Required skills

• Process simulation tools: HYSYS, FlareNet, ProMax.
• Line hydraulics, pump and control‑valve sizing, PSV sizing, blowdown and equipment sizing.
• Development of heat & material balances, PFDs, P&IDs and data sheets.
• Knowledge of API, Shell DEP, Saudi ARAMCO and ADNOC standards.
• Design of gas treatment, oil treatment and produced water treatment packages.
