Job description
About the role
Noon is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Dark Store Supply Chain, to own the products that run its dark stores end to end, from stock arrival at a store to handing the order to a rider. The role covers order fulfillment, inventory and store operations across a growing network of dark stores in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, working with engineering, data science, design and on-ground operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the dark store product roadmap, covering inbound, put away, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch handover, with quarterly priorities linked to network goals.
- Make order fulfillment faster and more accurate by driving picker assignment, pick paths and pick-to-pack flows so orders are handed over within the 15-minute promise.
- Raise inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bin counts, stock takes, discrepancy workflows, FEFO and near-expiry handling, and damage and returns flows.
- Optimize store layout and slotting using demand and pick-velocity data to assign locations, guide put away and replenish from back-store to pick faces.
- Improve workforce productivity by partnering with operations on the picker app, labor planning against demand forecasts and store staffing and utilization metrics.
- Define and track KPIs such as items per hour, order-to-handover time, pick accuracy, inventory accuracy, fill rate, skips and customer complaints, and run experiments to prove impact.
- Automate floor decisions with algorithms, ML and hardware such as scanners, conveyors and smart storage.
- Mentor other PMs in the charter and raise the bar for product thinking, writing and execution.
Required profile
- 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building supply chain, fulfillment, WMS or operations-tech products.
- Track record of shipping products that improved hard operational metrics such as throughput, accuracy, cost per order or SLA adherence at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience in q-commerce, grocery, e-commerce fulfillment or logistics in a high-growth company is highly preferred.
Required skills
- Deep understanding of warehouse and dark store flows: inbound, put away, slotting, picking strategies (single, batch, zone), packing, inventory control and replenishment.
- Strong analytical skills, writing SQL and building own analyses.
- Technical depth to work with engineering on system design, APIs and event flows, and to own high-volume, real-time systems.
- Experience with optimization or ML-driven products (assignment, routing, forecasting, recommendations) is a strong plus.
