Senior Product Manager II - Payroll Product Activation

About the role

Deel is looking for a Senior Product Manager II to lead the Payroll Product Activation team. In this remote position you will own the product strategy that helps customers transition their entity, contract and payroll set‑up onto Deel’s global payroll infrastructure. You will turn a traditionally months‑long manual onboarding process into a scalable, intelligent experience for thousands of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for payroll activation, aligning with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, legal and operations to compress onboarding timelines and automate manual steps.
• Gather and prioritize customer feedback, translating it into product features that support diverse payroll configurations across 150+ countries.
• Measure product performance, set KPIs, and iterate based on data‑driven insights.
• Drive cross‑functional initiatives that ensure seamless integration of entity, contract and payroll workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, preferably in payroll, HR or financial services.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, compliance‑focused products at scale.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable product decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
