Senior Project Manager Design

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Design) to lead medium‑sized or multiple small design projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering projects on schedule and within budget while meeting contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of design projects, defining scope, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact, ensuring expectations and deliverables are met.
• Monitor performance, budgets, and schedules; implement corrective actions for risks and challenges.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities.
• Lead staffing, team development, performance management, and mentoring of direct reports.
• Oversee project controls, including risk, change, and recovery management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, contractual, code, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle project documentation, reporting, change control, and contract variations.
• Chair project meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain accurate records.
• Support business development by identifying additional service opportunities and maintaining client relationships.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in project management within the construction or design sector.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with risk, change, and contract management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
