Senior QA Engineer – Backend (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the role

FxPro is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join its TradeTech Quality Assurance team. You will focus on backend testing for fintech trading platforms, helping to ensure data integrity and fast defect detection while supporting a relocation opportunity to Cyprus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for trading platforms.
• Maximize automation coverage to reduce manual effort.
• Execute backend testing for data validation and front‑end/back‑end consistency.
• Perform end‑to‑end and integration testing across internal and third‑party applications.
• Debug, document, and track issues using bug‑tracking tools, collaborating with developers for rapid resolution.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to align testing with requirements.
• Share best practices, mentor engineers, and promote a high‑performance QA culture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in QA test automation.
• Strong knowledge of test theory and its practical application.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive attitude.
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
• University degree in Computer Science or related IT field (preferred).
• Familiarity with trading or investing environments is a plus.
