Senior QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical/E&I/Civil – Offshore

About the role

Penspen is urgently seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and Civil disciplines for an offshore Project Management Consultancy (PMC) project in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works comply with project specifications, codes and standards such as API, ASME and ISO.
• Review, approve and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct site inspections for piping, equipment installation, welding, and mechanical completion, and witness hydro‑test, pneumatic test, FAT/SAT and pre‑commissioning activities.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), drive corrective and preventive actions and maintain quality documentation and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and vendor teams to monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation or Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15‑18+ years of mechanical QA/QC experience in offshore oil & gas, with at least 5‑10 years on offshore projects.
• Proven experience in PMC or client‑side roles, preferably on ADNOC or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of welding engineering, NDE methods and offshore construction quality standards.
