Procurement Coordinator – Services & Materials

About the role

Bilfinger Middle East is seeking a proactive Procurement Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end procurement of services and technical materials for its Oil & Gas, Construction, EPC and Industrial Services projects in the UAE. The role will support the Procurement Manager in sourcing, negotiating and ensuring timely delivery of a wide range of items.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full procurement cycle for materials such as pipes, fittings, valves, structural steel, instrumentation and electrical equipment, from RFQ issuance to PO creation.
• Source and negotiate service contracts for accommodation, transportation, logistics, equipment rentals, manpower and subcontracting.
• Maintain approved vendor database, evaluate supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Conduct market research, price benchmarking and cost‑optimization initiatives to achieve savings.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Projects, HR, Finance and Logistics to align procurement with project schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably in Oil & Gas, EPC or construction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel across the UAE for supplier visits and audits.
• Strong network of local suppliers for materials, services and logistics is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
