Senior Quantity Surveyor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this pivotal position you will apply extensive expertise in cost management, estimating and project controls to drive financial excellence across our construction and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive estimating systems, processes and methodologies.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, conceptual estimates and cost analyses for complex projects.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and proposals, providing transparent recommendations to optimise value.
• Manage project budgets and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring expenditures and identifying variances.
• Conduct material take‑offs, quantity calculations and historical data compilation using advanced software tools.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure accurate cost forecasting, budget management and procurement strategies align with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and financial risk mitigation.
