Senior SOC Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

The Security Operations Centre (SOC) at CPX Affiliate is looking for a Senior SOC Analyst to lead monitoring, threat detection and incident response across our client environments. You will work with a cross‑functional team that integrates security operations into the full application lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and triage incidents escalated by Tier‑1 SOC analysts.
• Perform second‑level threat analysis and determine impact on services and data.
• Research, correlate and analyze large data sets, including logs, memory dumps and network traffic.
• Provide recommendations for incident handling, security monitoring and physical security validation.
• Identify weaknesses in software, hardware and network components.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to validate alerts and communicate findings.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in security monitoring, log analysis and incident response.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Security+, CISSP, CISM, GICSP, GCIH, GCIA, GRID.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux and Unix environments.
