Senior SOC Engineer – SOAR Automation

About the role

CPX Security is seeking a Senior SOC Engineer specialized in SOAR to lead automation and orchestration of cyber‑incident response within its Abu Dhabi Security Operations Center. The role is critical for enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of threat detection and response workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SOAR platforms (FortiSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR) in the SOC environment.
• Onboard new log sources and integrate them with SIEM/SOAR solutions.
• Design, develop, and fine‑tune playbooks and automated workflows for incident response.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of threat intelligence and ticketing systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SOAR performance, ensuring reliability and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC operations with strong SOAR management exposure.
• Immediate availability or notice period of up to one month.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
