Senior Software Engineer – Dotnet Tooling and Framework

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will join an agile feature team to design, develop, and maintain tooling and framework solutions that support the Emirates Group business. You will work independently on complex software problems, ensuring high‑quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Create and customize scripts using Windows Batch, VBScript, and PowerShell.
• Manage installation and uninstallation processes with MSI packages.
• Maintain Windows registry entries and troubleshoot .NET framework issues.
• Support third‑party UI and chart controls, as well as reporting components such as Crystal Reports.
• Utilize CI/CD tools including Git, Jenkins, and Nexus Repository Manager.
• Set up and support development tools for Java, Node.js, and Python on client and server machines.
• Integrate systems using web services, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
• Apply networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, protocols) to ensure reliable deployments.
• Package and deploy software via SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).

Required profile

• Computer Science degree or equivalent IT‑related qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience packaging and deploying software tools on Windows desktops.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering IT tools or application systems in a technology‑solution environment.
