Senior Sommelier

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sommelier to lead wine and beverage service across our premium hospitality and dining operations. The role combines advanced wine knowledge with strong leadership to develop a compelling beverage program and deliver personalized recommendations to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute wine service standards, curate wine lists, and manage daily wine‑service operations.
• Maintain cellar organization, inventory accuracy, and proper storage conditions.
• Negotiate with suppliers, evaluate new wines, and build relationships with wineries and distributors.
• Train and coach service staff on wine regions, pairings, and service techniques.
• Collaborate with chefs and managers to create food‑and‑wine pairing programs and support special events.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of international wine regions, grape varieties, and winemaking.
• Strong leadership and ability to train and mentor service teams.
• Commercial awareness with experience in wine purchasing and margin management.
