Senior Specialist External Communications

About the role

The Senior Specialist External Communications will advise the Group’s corporate communications, shape storytelling, and engage key external stakeholders. The role is responsible for protecting and enhancing ADNOC’s reputation across a complex, multi‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review external communications plans, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Design and implement reputation risk‑management programs, both proactive and reactive.
• Advise senior management on critical reputation issues and communication challenges.
• Develop and execute public‑relations strategies aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with print, online and broadcast media worldwide.
• Monitor public perception, media coverage and trends to refine PR strategies.
• Provide technical guidance to subsidiaries and operating companies on consistent corporate‑communication plans.
• Create innovative storytelling and stakeholder‑engagement content to deliver accurate, influential messages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital communication, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive senior‑level experience in corporate communications, digital communication, branding or related disciplines.
• Experience in large, complex organisations or across multiple industries.
• Strong knowledge of corporate‑communication strategy development and implementation.
