Senior Structural Design Engineer – Dubai & Abu Dhabi

About the role

KEN International is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to support projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures while ensuring compliance with local authority requirements and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or equivalent tools.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings and technical submissions.
• Coordinate design efforts with architecture, MEP, geotechnical and other disciplines.
• Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings and resolve design issues.
• Review contractor technical submissions and support authority submissions, responding to comments.
• Ensure designs are technically sound, buildable and meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–10 years of proven structural design experience, including UAE consultancy projects.
• Valid Dubai Municipality engineering registration/licence.
• UAE Society of Engineers membership (SOE Card) and Ministry of Education degree equivalency certificate.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements and UAE authority procedures.
