Senior Structural Engineer – Engineering Services

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering Services team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of structural solutions for commercial, residential and industrial projects, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis and inspection of structural projects across various sectors.
• Develop detailed calculations, load analyses, material selections and stability assessments.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications using CAD tools and ensure compliance with relevant building codes.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines to create integrated solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues and verify construction against design intent.
• Prepare engineering reports, proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, providing strategic solutions to challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5‑10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
