Senior Supervisor Material QC

About the role

As a Senior Supervisor Material QC at EDGE Group, you will lead quality control activities across incoming materials, in‑process inspections, and finished products. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements while collaborating closely with Production, Procurement, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead material inspection, testing and quality control for incoming, in‑process and finished items.
• Review and approve inspection records, test reports and ERP quality transactions.
• Oversee calibration, traceability and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
• Investigate non‑conformities, implement corrective actions and support improvement initiatives.
• Manage and develop quality inspection teams, ensuring adherence to IMS, QMS and HSE requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead inspection activities and teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
