Senior Systems Analyst – Core Banking

About the role

The Senior Systems Analyst will design, develop and maintain core banking applications for the Commercial Bank of Dubai. The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust, secure software solutions that support the bank’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and produce functional and non‑functional specifications aligned with corporate guidelines.
• Develop, test and deliver J2EE‑based and web‑based applications for core banking.
• Perform unit and system integration testing to meet quality objectives.
• Provide application support, maintenance and incident resolution for production systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals and system recovery plans.
• Train key users on application functionality and troubleshoot issues.
• Generate project and application reports in compliance with bank policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Professional software development qualifications.
• Minimum 4 years experience with core banking systems implementation and management.
• Strong understanding of core banking functions and banking standards such as IFX and BIAN.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Ethix Core Banking (preferred).
