Senior Team Lead Air & Sea Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Team Lead to oversee our air and sea logistics yard in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, efficient yard operations, manages inventory, and leads a team to meet DSV’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the logistics team, planning weekend and holiday coverage.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure yard environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of materials and supplies required for operations.
• Organise storage space and optimise utilisation of goods and equipment.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports to management.
• Conduct weekly performance meetings and update operational reports.
• Oversee equipment inspections, coordinate repairs, and ensure proper maintenance of tools.
• Manage task scheduling, track completion dates, and monitor work‑in‑progress.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the manager to support business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing open‑yard logistics facilities.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proven planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑management experience with the ability to lead a diverse workforce.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
