Senior Technician Mechanical Maintenance Rotating DGD

About the role

The Senior Technician will perform hands‑on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing of rotating equipment across ADNOC offshore facilities. The role ensures safe, effective and compliant upkeep of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, generators and related systems while supporting commissioning and reliability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, blowers and utility packages.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs including bearing replacement, alignment, seal replacement and balancing.
• Conduct post‑maintenance test runs to verify equipment efficiency and operational readiness.
• Perform condition‑based maintenance using vibration readings, oil analysis, temperature and pressure trends.
• Assist commissioning teams during installation, alignment, pre‑commissioning and functional testing of new rotating machinery.
• Review project documentation, vendor manuals and commissioning records; support acceptance, punch‑list closeout and handover.
• Apply predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration checks, thermography, acoustic detection, oil sampling and performance monitoring.
• Identify reliability risks, participate in root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve MTBF and reduce unplanned shutdowns.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment in an offshore or industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to lead junior technicians.
• Proven knowledge of predictive and condition‑based maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with ADNOC procedures, OEM manuals and safety standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in offshore facilities and support commissioning activities.
