CNC Machine Operator

About the role

The CNC Machine Operator will manufacture power‑section components (stators and rotors) for oilfield directional drilling. The role requires strict adherence to SOPs, safety standards and quality controls in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture stators and rotors following detailed procedures and SOPs.
• Verify quality‑control checks at each stage and document results in the ERP system.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, boilers, generators and air compressors as required.
• Report any abnormalities, safety concerns or process variations to supervisors.
• Maintain tools, gauges and equipment, and support machine‑repair activities.
• Participate in continual‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, routers and technical documents.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with safe use of power tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to train new hires and follow HSE regulations.
