Senior Technician, Mechanical Maintenance (Rotating)

About the role

The Senior Technician will lead hands‑on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing of rotating equipment across ADNOC Offshore facilities. This role ensures safe, effective and compliant operation of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, generators and related rotating systems to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on rotating equipment, including bearing replacement, alignment, seal replacement and balancing.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, verify failure causes and conduct post‑maintenance test runs.
• Execute condition‑based maintenance using vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography and temperature/pressure trends.
• Support commissioning and startup activities, including installation, alignment, pre‑commissioning and functional testing of new machinery.
• Identify reliability risks, provide feedback to improve maintenance routines and assist junior technicians.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Proven ability to act as a senior technical resource and mentor junior staff.
• Strong safety orientation and commitment to compliance with OEM manuals and ADNOC procedures.
