Senior/Mid-Level BIM & CAD Technician (Dubai)

About the role

Parsons is seeking talented BIM and CAD Technicians to support its UAE projects. You will work closely with the BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure design compliance, timely delivery, and high‑quality documentation across multiple civil‑engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BIM Lead, Design Leads and Engineers to produce engineering drawings, layouts, flow‑sheets, isometrics and component details.
• Manage BIM‑related activities from project start‑up to completion, ensuring adherence to company QA/QC processes.
• Review drawings for readability, presentation and standards compliance.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families and apply Level‑of‑Detail (LOD) requirements.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks, generate clash reports and coordinate multidisciplinary models (utilities, roads, structures, drainage, MEP).
• Extract quantities and generate schedules directly from the BIM model.
• Support additional project tasks as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience (mid‑level to senior).
• Prior CAD drafting experience in the MEA/UAE region, covering utilities, roads, structures, MEP coordination and drainage systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
