Service Agent – Food & Beverage (5‑Star Hotel)

About the role

Join a world‑renowned hospitality brand as a Service Agent, delivering seamless food and beverage service in a 5‑star hotel environment. You will work closely with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional, unobtrusive manner.
• Prepare and maintain tables, trays, and service trolleys according to hotel standards.
• Coordinate effectively between the kitchen and service areas.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Respond to guest requests and handle complaints professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures, ensuring the outlet is ready for service.
• Monitor equipment usage, maintain stock levels, and manage inventories.
• Collaborate with chefs and the wider F&B team to optimise service flow.
• Identify upselling opportunities and promote a positive guest experience.
• Provide support across other hotel outlets and departments when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience in a 5‑star international hotel.
• Strong guest service orientation with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hotel School degree, diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• MICROS or similar POS system.
• WSET Level 1 certification (advantage).
• HACCP knowledge (advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
