ServiceNow Developer – Custom Scoped Applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the design and delivery of custom‑scoped applications in our Dubai office. The role focuses on building upgrade‑safe, high‑performance solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of custom‑scoped ServiceNow applications using ServiceNow Studio.
• Define and configure complex workflows, business rules, notifications, and data models.
• Design and enforce role‑based security (ACLs/RBAC) aligned with corporate policies.
• Guide junior developers, review configurations and ensure best‑practice implementation.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Own deployment activities across non‑production and production environments and support release planning.
• Produce technical documentation and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• ServiceNow development (custom scoped applications, configuration‑first approach).
• Strong JavaScript and Glide API proficiency.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and UI Actions.
• ACLs and role‑based security (RBAC) implementation.
• Design of custom tables, data models and relationships.
• Creation of basic reports, dashboards and list views.
• Familiarity with enterprise change and release processes.
