ServiceNow Domain Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Domain Architect to lead technical architecture and governance across our ServiceNow platform. You will define standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and technical guidelines while ensuring solutions delivered by internal teams and vendors meet enterprise requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate enterprise architecture, security, data, integration, and operational policies into clear ServiceNow standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, approved patterns, design templates, review checklists, quality‑gate criteria, and architecture decision records.
• Define standards for ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, data models, CMDB, CSDM, security, access controls, custom applications, portals, automation, and reporting.
• Provide hands‑on guidance during planning, sourcing, design, implementation, upgrade, and readiness stages.
• Review high‑level and low‑level designs, integration designs, workflows, data models, security models, and customisations for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Identify excessive customisation, duplication, platform risks, technical debt, and recommend remediation.
• Promote reuse of standard ServiceNow capabilities and assess new releases for adoption recommendations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of technology experience with significant ServiceNow architecture responsibilities.
• Strong hands‑on experience developing ServiceNow standards, reference architectures, patterns, templates, and governance artefacts.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, workflows, security, CMDB, CSDM, automation, and application development.
• Proven experience reviewing and assuring enterprise‑scale ServiceNow implementations.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (preferred).
