Settlement Services Specialist

About the role

The Settlement Services Specialist is responsible for monitoring and processing settlement transactions across domestic, regional and international markets. You will ensure timely, accurate settlement of equities, mutual funds, fixed income, ETFs, securities lending, borrowing and short‑selling activities while delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate and match client, market and sub‑custodian instructions for a wide range of securities.
• Coordinate settlement processing with clients, counterparties, regulators, brokers, paying agents and issuers.
• Support cash management to facilitate smooth settlements across all markets.
• Participate in system upgrades, processing enhancements and off‑hours testing.
• Assist in training new specialists and handling complex inquiries.
• Contribute to risk mitigation by ensuring compliance with market rules, regulations and internal controls.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of settlement processes for equities, mutual funds, fixed income and related products.
• Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders across local, regional and global markets.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and risk identification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SWIFT messaging for settlement instructions.
