Site Construction Engineer

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Site Construction Engineer to lead quality assurance activities on offshore construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on ensuring that all construction work complies with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards while delivering the project safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve Construction Site Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) issued by the EPC contractor.
• Monitor EPC contractor’s adherence to the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Audit EPC contractor’s quality performance and lead weekly construction site quality meetings.
• Review and approve quality control reports, WQT, PQR, WPS, NDT procedures and reports.
• Initiate, review, and close Non‑Conformity Reports (NCR) ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Verify and sign Inspection Request Forms and ensure proper filing of project documentation.
• Identify and execute a PMC audit schedule, performing regular audits on the EPC contractor.
• Ensure timely submission of marked‑up As‑Built drawings and final documentation before project handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) experience in construction quality assurance or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSSEQ standards and project quality management.
• Ability to lead site meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
