SMB AI Power User – Competitive Evaluations

About the role

This contractor position focuses on evaluating AI assistants against the real‑world needs of small and medium‑sized businesses. You will use your own daily business workflows to run head‑to‑head tests of competing generative AI tools and produce detailed, reproducible reports.

Key responsibilities

• Run multi‑turn prompts and workflows across multiple AI assistants using realistic SMB tasks such as advertising copy, content planning, customer communication, pricing and scheduling.
• Build and maintain a library of practical test cases covering marketing, commerce, bookkeeping and other business operations.
• Identify and document failure modes (inaccurate responses, tone issues, formatting problems, lost context, unsafe content, etc.).
• Produce clear evaluation reports that include prompts, expected vs. actual results, severity, business impact and cost comparison.
• Maintain a consistent weekly delivery cadence while working independently.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience as owner, founder, sole proprietor or day‑to‑day operator of an SMB (1–200 employees).
• Daily, habitual use of generative AI tools for business operations and marketing.
• Hands‑on management of Instagram and Facebook business pages, including posts, Stories, Reels and customer messages.
• Practical experience creating and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms with real budgets.
• Exceptional written English and strong analytical/observational skills.
