About the role
Al Ittihad National Private School in Shakhbout, Abu Dhabi, is looking for a UAE‑national Social Counselor to join its Elementary Section. The role focuses on supporting students’ social and emotional development, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, and aligning all interventions with ADEK regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide social and emotional guidance to elementary students to promote well‑being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to design and implement student support plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe climate across the elementary division.
- Maintain accurate counseling records in compliance with ADEK frameworks.
- Facilitate proactive communication between families and the school regarding student needs.
Required profile
- UAE national with a valid DCD license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or a related field.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred.
