About the role

Gulf News is looking for a young, energetic, and creative professional based in Dubai to join an exciting social media and journalism project. The role focuses on engaging local audiences, creating compelling content, and developing ideas that resonate with the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow Gulf News’ presence across social media platforms.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging multimedia content tailored to the UAE audience.
• Develop content ideas and campaigns that reflect local culture and trends.
• Travel within Dubai to cover assignments and events as needed.
• Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Required profile

• Currently residing in Dubai; relocation candidates will not be considered.
• At least one year of experience in social media engagement and content creation.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market, culture, and audience preferences.
• Energetic, positive, creative, and idea‑driven personality.
• Willingness to work unsocial hours and travel around Dubai for assignments.
