Social Media Manager

About the role

Fasset is looking for a Social Media Manager to turn its financial platform into a lively conversation across emerging markets. You will lead the content engine for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X and LinkedIn, creating short‑form video that resonates with audiences in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Gulf and East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design repeatable content formats and series that drive recurring audience engagement.
• Own day‑to‑day publishing, calendar management and platform strategy for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X and LinkedIn.
• Write hooks, shoot, edit and appear on‑camera, or coordinate with creators to produce first‑cut videos.
• Build a production workflow with a shooter‑editor and freelance creators, deciding what to produce in‑house versus outsource.
• Translate cultural moments, product launches and customer stories into timely multilingual content (Urdu, Bangla, Arabic, Bahasa, English).
• Integrate community management into content through replies, comments and quote posts.
• Collaborate with brand and performance teams to align organic and paid efforts, tracking metrics beyond views.

Required profile

• Portfolio of social‑media content that has grown an audience.
• Comfort on camera and deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and X mechanics.
• Strong writing and editing ability, with hands‑on experience using video‑editing tools.
• Experience managing freelancers or creators and providing constructive feedback.
• Good judgement for finance‑related content and data‑driven optimisation.
• Fluent English.

• Adobe Premiere editing.
