Social Media Specialist – Arabic Speaking (GCC Markets)

About the role

We are seeking a creative, trend‑aware Social Media Specialist to lead Dr. Scent’s daily social presence across GCC markets. The role combines content publishing, community interaction, influencer coordination, and performance reporting to build strong brand engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily activities on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, X and other relevant platforms.
• Schedule and publish posts, stories, reels and captions according to the monthly marketing calendar.
• Coordinate with the Content & Creative Specialist to receive approved assets.
• Monitor platform updates, viral trends, hashtags and competitor activity in the GCC.
• Support live coverage for kiosk events, exhibitions, product launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Respond to comments, messages and mentions in Arabic and English, fostering brand loyalty.
• Escalate complaints or urgent inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Encourage user‑generated content, reviews and community participation.
• Assist influencer outreach, gifting, product delivery and campaign follow‑up.
• Track influencer performance and align briefs with marketing objectives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in social media management, community management or digital marketing.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of GCC consumer behavior and social media trends.
• Experience in beauty, fragrance, fashion, retail, lifestyle or FMCG is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer‑engagement abilities.
• Proven ability to work with designers, content creators and marketing teams.
