Solution Expert, Mobile Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Expert/Digital Engineer to join Al‑Futtaim’s Digital Engineering team in Dubai. The role focuses on designing, developing and supporting cloud‑native applications across web and mobile platforms, ensuring high scalability and a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the tech leader, scrum master and solution architect to deliver engineering solutions.
• Implement technology designs for customer solutions.
• Contribute to the creation of new products and services.
• Follow established processes, standards and best practices in software engineering.
• Participate in implementation and support of technological solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Develop and deploy applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services.
• Build web applications with Java/.NET, Angular, React.js and Node.js.
• Develop mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, Swift and Objective‑C.
• Utilise Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Azure SQL Database, MySQL, CosmosDB and MongoDB.
• Adhere to Open API Specification (Swagger) standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a software developer.
• Proven experience working in Agile PODs and delivering high‑performing, scalable solutions.
• Track record of both individual contribution and collaborative teamwork.
