Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver innovative enterprise solutions that drive scalability, AI/ML integration, and digital modernization for Etihad Airways. You will work closely with business and technology teams to shape roadmaps, governance frameworks, and future‑proof platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑wide solutions that are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead large‑scale IT projects, ensuring integration, interoperability, and optimal performance.
• Drive innovation through AI/ML‑based solutions and emerging technologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and provide guidance to cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Establish and uphold architectural governance and documentation.
• Identify risks, monitor system performance, and recommend long‑term improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or complex IT solution design.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale IT projects.
• Hands‑on experience designing AI/ML solutions.
• Strong background in Agile methodology.
• Preferable experience in the airline industry.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, Open Certified Architect, UML, or ArchiMate.
