Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity / Cloud)

About the role

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its Presales team in Dubai. The role focuses on designing and delivering cloud and security solutions across Akamai’s platform, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical pre‑sales process, creating opportunities by demonstrating how Akamai solves real business problems.
• Design and deliver high‑impact product demos, customer analysis reports, and proof‑of‑concept trials.
• Partner with sales and executive leadership to align customer initiatives with platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to become a subject‑matter expert and share knowledge through technical content and industry events.
• Produce technical proposals and architecture recommendations for complex web, security, and cloud deployments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical pre‑sales, consulting, or customer‑facing architect roles supporting enterprise accounts.
• Strong communication and storytelling ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and drive initiatives to completion.
