Sous Chef (Arabic Speaker) – Banquets

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who is fluent in Arabic to lead the Banquets kitchen at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality food, maintaining presentation standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Banquets kitchen in preparing and presenting all food items according to SOPs and standardized menus.
• Monitor production standards to guarantee the highest level of quality.
• Control food cost and contribute to budgeting efforts.
• Participate in concept development and menu creation for special events.
• Implement HACCP and municipal hygiene standards at all times.
• Conduct regular on‑the‑job training for culinary staff and promote health & safety practices.

Required profile

• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course completed.
• Minimum three years of experience in quality establishments.
• Strong culinary skills with proven food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic speaking required.
• Ability to lead a multicultural team under demanding conditions.
