Sous Chef – Sushi (Nobu)

About the role

Atlantis The Palm Dubai is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine in delivering world‑class sushi experiences at the renowned Nobu restaurant. You will help maintain the highest culinary standards while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Cuisine in planning, organizing and executing sushi service according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the sushi station.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies and ensure adequate stock of all working materials.
• Coordinate with front‑of‑house and other kitchen sections to guarantee seamless service.
• Train, supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff to achieve consistent quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma in Catering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience in a 5‑star international hotel or resort kitchen.
• At least one to two years in a similar Sous Chef or senior sushi position.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
