Spa Assistant

About the role

A full-time, non-management Spa Assistant position at a Le Méridien hotel in Dubai. The role welcomes guests to the spa, supports them during their stay and keeps the spa area tidy and well stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Give guests general spa orientation on arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, lounge areas and hospitality stations
• Offer guests amenities such as water, juice or heated neck pillows
• Answer questions about property information and amenities, and escort guests to and from treatment rooms
• Check the computer regularly for schedule updates and changes
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, treatment rooms, locker rooms and lounges, and dispose of trash and dirty linens properly
• Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift and stock towels, linens, supplies and amenities
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager, complete safety training and follow company policies
• Anticipate guest service needs, speak clearly and professionally, and build positive working relationships
• Comply with quality assurance standards and perform other reasonable duties asked by supervisors

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Physical ability to reach, bend, twist, lift objects up to 10 pounds and stand, sit or walk for long periods
