About the role
American Gulf School is looking for an inspirational and dynamic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join its growing team. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality SEN instruction across Pre‑KG to Grade 12, supporting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess SEN curriculum in line with school standards.
- Integrate appropriate technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Engage effectively with students, parents and staff to support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education Needs (required).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Excellent command of English; bilingual English‑Arabic preferred.
- Previous experience in an American or IB school preferred.
- Master’s degree preferred.
