Secondary ICT Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Secondary ICT Teacher to join our multicultural, faith‑based school in Sharjah. The role involves delivering high‑quality ICT lessons, fostering critical thinking, and supporting students’ academic growth in line with the UK National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Facilitate learning by creating an engaging classroom environment and organising resources.
• Assess and record student progress, prepare pupils for examinations and link new knowledge to prior learning.
• Use data to monitor and enhance student performance.
• Promote safeguarding and uphold the school’s moral values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in ICT or Computing.
• UK teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis and differentiation for students.
• Current understanding of safeguarding practices.
