About the role
Iqraa Arab Language Teaching Centre is seeking a qualified Special Educational Needs Teacher who is a native Arabic speaker. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on delivering tailored instruction to children with learning disabilities, speech and language difficulties, including dyslexia and autism.
Key responsibilities
- Provide life‑skills training and basic literacy instruction to disabled youth.
- Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to meet each child’s individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with a certification in special educational needs.
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Experience working with children who have learning disabilities, speech and language challenges, dyslexia, or autism.
Required skills
- Ability to teach life skills and basic literacy to disabled youth.
- Capability to modify standard curricula to suit individual learner requirements.
