Special Process Operator

About the role

The Special Process Operator will execute critical special processes such as heat treatment, blasting, shot peening and coating within the Gas Turbine Cell at the Jebel Ali Service Center. The role demands strong technical capability, disciplined execution and a commitment to safety, quality and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform special process operations in line with approved procedures, technical specifications and safety standards.
• Support daily production flow by ensuring timely and accurate processing to meet customer demand.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Follow work instructions, process sheets and operating standards to guarantee repeatability and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to sustain shop‑floor efficiency and support lean initiatives.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects focused on productivity, quality and waste reduction.
• Maintain housekeeping, ownership and accountability within the assigned work area.

Required profile

• Diploma in a relevant field or high‑school diploma with relevant work experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations.
• Qualified to operate heat treatment, blasting and shot peening processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in English with good communication and teamwork skills.
