Specialist – Asset Servicing (Emiratized)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking an Emiratized Specialist in Asset Servicing to join its Funds Custody & Issuer Services department. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality custody services and managing corporate actions across domestic, regional and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end corporate actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely execution.
• Monitor and handle daily corporate action events for equities, mutual funds, fixed income, hedge funds, structured funds and ETFs.
• Receive market and sub‑custodian announcements, scrub and compare data, and notify clients of corporate action events.
• Reconcile client positions with sub‑custodians and markets, and post accruals and entitlements accurately.
• Manage voluntary corporate actions by collecting client responses and submitting instructions before deadlines.
• Respond to internal and external client queries with detailed corporate action information.
• Coordinate with markets, sub‑custodians, agents, issuers, depositories and brokers to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain expertise in SWIFT messaging related to corporate actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset servicing or corporate actions within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks for custody services.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
