Specialist Family Medicine Physician

About the role

Our leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Family Medicine physician to deliver comprehensive primary and continuing care across all age groups. The role focuses on preventive health, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations, clinical examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide preventive services, health screenings, vaccinations and lifestyle counselling.
• Monitor patients with chronic diseases and develop long‑term management plans.
• Interpret laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic results and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Identify cases requiring specialist referral and ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine.
• Relevant post‑specialisation clinical experience in primary and family healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of preventive medicine and management of acute and chronic diseases.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
