Specialist Family Medicine (Seha Clinics)

About the role

The Specialist Family Medicine will work within Seha Clinics in Abu Dhabi, delivering high‑quality patient care under the supervision of a Consultant Physician. The role combines clinical duties with administrative support to ensure seamless service delivery across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients according to best‑practice standards for family medicine.
• Supervise junior medical staff and share responsibility for their patient care.
• Lead ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients regularly, and document clinical information promptly.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, liaise with other specialties, and ensure appropriate referrals.
• Provide out‑of‑hours on‑call coverage on a rotational basis, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, audit activities, and incident reporting.
• Assist with performance management processes, including peer review and productivity reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified medical professional in Family Medicine.
• Experience supervising junior medical staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Willingness to participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call duties.
