Specialist - OHSE

About the role

The Specialist – OHSE will design, implement and monitor occupational health, safety, security and environmental plans for high‑risk projects within the EDGE Group portfolio. Working from Abu Dhabi, you will support TSS programmes, security‑centric EPC contracts and police force automation initiatives, ensuring compliance and protecting personnel operating in remote or hostile environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project‑specific QA/QC, HSE and security plans, registers and compliance documentation.
• Establish quality control processes, inspection requirements, FAT/SAT procedures and audit checklists for deliverables.
• Monitor implementation of OHSE plans across vendors, contractors and subcontractors and enforce site safety and environmental controls.
• Prepare security risk assessments, travel advisory and emergency response plans for operations in high‑risk areas.
• Track real‑time geolocation of staff and contractors using digital asset/personnel tracking systems such as ATAK.
• Activate and coordinate emergency response actions for security, safety, medical or environmental threats.
• Deliver project, site, safety, security and travel induction training for staff, contractors and field teams.
• Support de‑mining planning, severity planning and hostile‑environment controls as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in OHSE management for high‑risk or security‑focused projects.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, FAT/SAT procedures and audit methodologies.
• Ability to work in remote or hostile environments and coordinate emergency response actions.
• Strong communication skills for delivering training and preparing security documentation.

• ATAK (or equivalent digital asset/personnel tracking platform)
