Specialist Pediatric Neurologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Pediatric Neurologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based neurological care to infants, children and adolescents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, movement disorders and neurogenetic conditions.
• Perform thorough neurological assessments and create individualized treatment and long‑term management plans.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as EEG, MRI, CT scans, EMG/NCS and laboratory results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, geneticists and radiologists.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options and prognosis while maintaining accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD) from a recognized institution.
• Completed pediatric residency and fellowship/sub‑specialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority.
• DHA eligibility letter or valid DHA specialist license.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialization experience in Pediatric Neurology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in EEG interpretation.
• Experience with MRI and CT scan analysis.
• Knowledge of EMG/NCS techniques.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision‑making abilities.
